Hot and Sour Pork Rib Soup



A delicious and comforting hot and sour pork rib soup with a perfect balance of spiciness and tanginess. Loaded with tender pork ribs and a variety of textures, this soup is a hearty and satisfying choice.

Ingredients:

  • 500g pork ribs, cleaned and chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili oil
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup black fungus mushrooms, soaked and sliced
  • 1/2 cup bamboo shoots, julienned
  • 1/4 cup tofu, diced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions and cilantro for garnish

Instructions:

Put pork ribs in soy sauce and let them sit for 30 minutes

Warm up the chili oil and sesame oil in a pot

Put in the pork ribs that have been marinated and cook until they turn brown

Tofu, black fungus mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and rice vinegar should all be added

Mix well

Make a slurry with cornstarch and a little water in a different bowl

Put it in the pot to make the soup thicker

It will take 20 minutes to cook after you add the chicken broth and bring it to a boil

Pour the beaten egg into the soup slowly while stirring it gently

Add pepper and salt

On top, put green onions and cilantro

Enjoy while hot!
