Water Rocket Competition, Rajabhat University, Sakon Nakhon, Thailand
The kids were quite enthusiastic and well mannered.
There was a variety of both rocket and launcher designs, from the simple to more elaborate. Some were hand pumped and some used the available compressor. They were regulated by the amount of water in each container, bottle, but had options on pressure.
The last rocket in the video was the most impressive. I don't know how they did it but it was 2 stages. 5 rockets in the first stage and then the second beats me how kicked in. It ,for sure, won for distance and there was also an accuracy test as well. Not sure who won as I did not have time to hang around. But it was nice seeing well behaved youngsters doing something intelligent and educational in Thailand.
