Mekong Underwater World Nakhon Phanom Thailand

The visit to the Governors Mansion Museum was a treat. Shady and cool, quiet and informative and free as well.
The Ho Chi Minh, inventor of the mobile home, compound, as always pleasant and not overdone.
So on leaving town I hoped the trip would finish on a high note and it did and it didn't.
The didn't part was an OTOP location or not and finding the Mahasarakham Rajabaht University compound in Nakhon Phanom, which I will discuss in a future post.
The did was a visit to the Mekong Underwater World Nakhon Phanom Thailand.
The aquarium is located on the Na Kae Road just North of the Nakhon Phanom to Sakon Nakhon Road.
It opens at 0930h and the day we visited was open 5 minutes early. The entry fee is 30 Baht for adults of any persuasion.
The place is not huge, but generally well kept, Not much in English, but a fish is a fish.
Most of the tanks are clean and have fish. The underwater walk is not long, but nice enough. As usual EXIT signs and arrows can be a bit confusing , but the place is small enough to suss it all out.
The gift shop is tiny but the shirts nice,. I even bought 1 for a friends son. No restaurant on food on site unless you are a cat.
It is a shame there is not more in English. It is also, I think amazing that so little is found if you do a search for the facility.
Very nice enjoyable visit. I would worry a bit about weekdays if a group of schoolkids appeared.
This is another stop on a visit to Nakhon Phanom that I highly recommend.
