Mukdahan Thailand, another place Vietnamese People are dying to get into 28.09.12

Many Vietnamese people have settled in the towns and villages along the Mekong River in Northeast Thailand, Isaan, For some time in the early 20th century Ho Chi Minh resided in the Nakhon Phanom area in the early 20th century. Nong Khai, That Phanom and Mukdahan have,for years had large Vietnamese populations , along the left bank of the Mekong. I find the Vietnamese cemeteries in these towns most interesting. Many, especially the older Vietnamese prefer burial to cremation and their grave sites are quite interesting. Some are family sites with husbands and wives, most have photos of the deceased and of course dates of birth and death, some listing the birthplace, especially if it was in Vietnam.
