Luangta Maha Boowa returns to Wat Pa Klang Non Phu, Sakon Nakhon, Thailand

2551 BE or 1998 AD is the year the this small exhibit\shrine\museum honoring Ajahn Mun was opened at Wat Pa Klang Non Phu just 0utside Phanna Nikkom in Sakon Nakhon, Thailand. That year Luangta was a sprite 75 years old and was quite moved to take part in the ceremonies and see the photos and items he so well remembered. A long days march carrying Ajahn Mun the 15 or so kilometers from Ban Nong Phue to here where he was to stay for the next 10 days waiting to be taken to Wat Stutthawat in Sakon Nakhon city. As you can see he was carried on no small stretcher, but on a stout  wooden bed with small wheels, but mostly on men's shoulders using strong bamboo poles. Besides Ajahn Mun's relics there are plenty of pictures and artifacts at this historic site.
