Tourism Authority of Thailand Hotline 1672 Experience

Ever since I read "When it isn’t increasing the price of rent at JJ Market, the State Railway of Thailand is busy joining forces with Tourism Authority of Thailand to introduce a special five-day trip around the Isaan provinces. Starting from Bangkok you’ll travel by train to Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Roi Et, Nakhon Phanom and Mukdaharn stopping off along the way to pay your respects at sacred temples, visit ancient dinosaur sites and explore pretty old towns. The trip runs from May 25-29 and costs from B6,900 per person, inclusive of all transport, accommodation and meals. Seats are limited. For details please contact 02-933-4180, TAT call center 1672 or SRT call center 1690"
I have wanted to go on this trip. Or at least see how they were going to explain the trip as there are no train tracks from Khon Kaen to Kalasin, Roi Et, Nakhon Phanom and Mukdaharn.  Getting an itinerary is also high on my list . Considering the time frame in question and the list of things to do this will have to be an express if not supersonic trip. So I finally called the Tourism Authority of Thailand toll-free number. The voice is rather difficult to understand. Also when it got down to choosing a month I figured out that "05" was the month I wanted. I could not understand if she said "start" or "star" and since there is no "start" on my phone I hit the * key and the thing seemed to go into a endless loop. Listen for yourself. You are free to try the number if you are in Thailand. And I plan to call to try to get more information which I will post as well.
