Wat Pa Baan Taad, Luang Ta Maha Boowa Update 03.12.11

I stopped by Wat Pa Baan Taad on my way to Nong Khai Province Saturday moring, arriving just as the last of the monks were finishing their meal for the day just about 0845.
Caught up with Phra Peter as his bowl was getting washed and he was being guarded by one of the wat dogs. Had about an hour chat to update each other on local goings on with both monastics we both know, and other odds and sods. Ajahn Suuchai is the Jao awat at Baan taad now. And Ajahn Lee, an elderly senior disciple of Luangta Maha Boowa is staying at the wat for now, do to his age and health.
I will try to get to the wat for the 1 year anniversary of Luangta Maha Bua's death. No telling if it will draw a large or small crowd, I just want to officially finish that 1 year cycle.
The first floor, or upstairs sala has become quite the place for folks to go to quietly meditate at all hours. It is a modest quiet place to stop for reflection and to view the humble shrine.
