Tiang Siri khanth, The Free Thai Movement

On 8 December 1941 Japanese forces invaded Thailand. The government ordered a cease fire that same day and allowed the Japanese to occupy Bangkok. Thailand then joined in an alliance with Japan. The Free Thai Movement was a resistance movement in Thailand during the war. Tiang Sirikhanth, from Sakon Nakhon was a graduate of Chulalongkorn University, elected to the National Assembly in 1940 and would represent his province until his death. He organized the largest Free Thai guerrilla training operation, in the Phu Phan Mountains near his hometown in Sakon Nakhon. The cave Memorial, small museum beneatth the statue and cave are located in the Phu Phan jus off Road 213, and these photos are geotagged. The stream, which is usually dry, was running about waist deep and I wasn't sure if the Bridge was cleared for 90k. I will get to the cave during the dry season.
