Kaeng (actually gaeng) and Haat (or Haad)

Kaeng (actually gaeng) and Haat (or Haad)
Which translates to rapids; waterfall; cascade of water and beaches.
Rivers and streams in Isaan are at low level this time of year and these features are sometime quite dramatic throughout the region and especially in the Ubon area where the geology is amazing.
Unfortunately finding these places is quite difficult as the Tourism Association Of Thailand has little interest in the region and maps are inadequate.
There are Thai tour companies that specialize in Isaan tours for Thais and I see their coaches at many of these areas.

Anyhow enjoy these views of the Mekong and elsewhere in Ubon.
